Saving lives through our training….
With an overall goal of supporting communities to be Suicide Safer, Forward For Life delivers recognised high quality training that seeks to increase the resilience of people in society to cope with life and all it can throw at us, promote overall well-being and quality of life, challenge the stigma of suicide and mental illness and most importantly, save lives.
Training to date has attracted people from across the West Midlands and beyond with representation from all walks of life and all professions including clinicians, counsellors, the police, tenancy support agencies, the housing sector, volunteer first aid services, health improvement agencies, youth support services, older peoples services, public health, education, learning disability services, neighbourhood forum representatives, volunteers and members of the community who just want to make things happen to make our communities Suicide Safer.
(Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) is a two day, skills building workshop that prepares caregivers of all kinds to provide suicide first aid interventions. Professionals, Volunteers and informal helpers all need to know how to help persons with thoughts of suicide in ways that increase their suicide safety.
If you want to discuss any of the training we directly provide, or to discuss specific tailored training in the areas of mental health, wellbeing, suicide prevention or all three… then please don't hesitate to contact us by phone on 07585776800 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org
